One of the easiest and quickest way to cook chicken fillets in 1/2 hour.
Serves 4 people
Ingredients:
500 grm chicken breast fillets
1 inch piece of ginger sliced finely or 1 tablespoon ground ginger paste
3 tablespoons cooking oil – light olive oil or peanut oil
2 carrots sliced long thin pieces
200 grm of sliced beans
1/2 cup of sliced celery
1/2 cup of Light Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil (optional)
- Slice chicken fillets in 1 inch length and set aside in a bowl.
- Slice vegetables the same size of the chicken.
- Start cooking. Place a wok on the stove on slow heat. Add the oil and let it heat through with the sesame oil.
- Add ginger pieces sliced finely and let it get slightly brown and also to flavour the oil.
- Add the chicken pieces and stir fry. You can cover with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes occasionally stirring to avoid burning.
- Add all the vegetables and stir through. Steam cook for 5 more minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, stir through and let it cook for a further 5 minutes.
- There should be a bit of gravy, so if its a bit dry you can add about 1/2 cup of water.
